Troubleshoot folders
 

ShowI can't see my most recent file change in the folder.

When you make changes to files, such as renaming, copying, deleting, or moving them, the changes may not be immediately visible. To see the changes you made, click the View menu, and then click Refresh.

ShowTip

To quickly see the changes you made, press F5.

ShowI can't open another person's mailbox or folders.

  • You may be using a different version of Microsoft Exchange Server than the person whose mailbox you are trying to open.

  • You or the other person may be working offline.

  • You are entering a distribution list or group alias in the Name box.

ShowI can't delete, move, or rename a specific folder.

You may be trying to perform one of these operations on the default Microsoft Outlook folders, such as Inbox, Calendar, Contacts. You can only perform these operations on folders you create.
