Change the look of your Calendar
 

ShowDisplay details of Calendar items in a view

  • In Calendar, on the View menu, point to Arrange By, point to Current View, and then click Day/Week/Month View With AutoPreview.

ShowChange the Day/Week/Month view

  1. In Calendar, on the View menu, point to Arrange By, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
  2. Click Other Settings.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To change the day display, change the Time Font, Font, and Time scale.
    • To display appointment end times, under Week or Month, select the Show end time check box.
    • To display weekends together, select the Compress weekend days check box.
    • To display appointment times as miniature clocks, under Week or Month, select the Show time as clocks check box.

ShowChange the Date Navigation display options

Do any of the following:

ShowChange the font

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
  2. Click Advanced Options.
  3. Under Appearance Options, click Font.
  4. Select the font and other options you want.

ShowTurn on or off bold dates

  1. In Calendar, on the View menu, point to Arrange By, point to Current View, and then click Customize Current View.
  2. Click Other Settings.
  3. Under General settings, clear or select the Bolded dates in Date Navigator represent days containing items check box.

ShowSet work week options

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click Calendar Options.
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To select the days of your work week, select the check boxes next to the days of the week you want.
    • To set the first day of the week, in the First day of week box, click the day you want.
    • To set the first week of the year, in the First week of year box, click the option you want.
    • To set the first and last hours of your workday, enter times in the Start time box and the End time box.

ShowChange the number of days displayed in Calendar

  • In Calendar, click any of the following:
    • Day Button image
    • Week Button image
    • Work Week Button image
    • Month Button image
