- In the message, on the Message tab, in the Options group, click the Message Options Dialog Box Launcher

- Click Security Settings.
- Select the Add digital signature to this message check box.
- Select the Request S/MIME receipt for this message check box.
- Click OK two times.
- Send your message.

- On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click E-mail Security.
- Under Encrypted e-mail, select the
Add digital signature to outgoing messages check box.

Select the Request S/MIME receipt for all S/MIME signed messages check box.
- Click OK two times.
- Send your message.
