Export addresses from the Junk E-mail Filter Lists

If you want to share your Junk E-mail Filter Lists with other people, or create copies of them for backup purposes, or print one of them, you can export the e-mail addresses that are in the list as a plain text (.txt) file that has one entry per line:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
  3. Click the Safe Senders, Safe Recipients, or Blocked Senders tab.
  4. Click Export to File.
  5. In the Save in list, click the drive, folder, or Internet location where you want to save the file.
  6. In the File name box, provide a name for the file.
  7. Click Save.

 Notes

  • If you export the Safe Senders List, and you have selected the Also trust e-mail from my Contacts check box, then the e-mail addresses for your Contacts will not be included in the text file that is created during the export process.
  • To print one of the Junk E-mail Filter Lists after you export the file, open it in Notepad or in another program that supports plain text (.txt) file format, and then print the file.
