Create time entries to invoice a customer by using Business Contact Manager

You can create time entries from project tasks, appointments, phone logs (phone log: The details of a phone call which may be linked with the communication history of an Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or a Business Project.), and tasks (task: A personal or work-related project, assignment, or errand to track through completion.) for each employee. The time entries help you to track time that is spent on work for a customer (customer: A person or company to whom your company sells products or services.) and to track employee hours for payroll.

You can create time entries and submit them one at a time, or you can submit multiple time entries at once for an employee. To submit several time entries at once, the appointments, phone logs, and tasks must be marked as billable.

Note   Only one time entry is created from recurring appointments and tasks.
