If you have configured your accounts to automatically check for new items and perform other tasks on a regular schedule, you can start send/receive manually.
Note Some types of accounts, such as Really Simple Syndication (RSS) and calendar publishing, will not check for new items each time a send/receive is initiated. These accounts might include information from the servers that they use on how often Microsoft Office Outlook should check for updates.
