Work with Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services contacts
 

You can connect to Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 contacts, make changes, and have those changes automatically synchronized back to the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site.

What do you want to do?


Add Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 contacts to Microsoft Office Outlook 2007

  1. In your Web browser, open a Windows SharePoint Services contacts list.
  2. Click Actions, and then click Open in Outlook.
  3. When prompted to connect the SharePoint contacts to Outlook, click OK.
  4. In Office Outlook 2007, the contacts are added under Other Contacts in Contacts, in the Navigation Pane.

Remove Windows SharePoint Services contacts from Office Outlook 2007

  1. In Contacts, in the Navigation Pane, under Other Contacts, select the contacts folder that you want to remove.
  2. Right-click the folder, and then click Delete "contacts folder name" on the shortcut menu.
  3. When prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.

     Note   This procedure removes the contacts only from Outlook, not from the Windows SharePoint Services site.
