Outlook program doesn't appear when I switch to it using Alt+Tab

Applies to
Microsoft Office Outlook® 2003

When you press ALT+TAB to switch to the next running program on your computer, you might not see the Outlook program even though Outlook is running. This is because you minimized the Outlook window and the Hide when minimized setting is on.

To make the Outlook program appear when you switch windows, do the following:

  1. Locate the Outlook icon that appears in the notification area at the far right end of the taskbar.
  2. Right-click the icon, and then click Hide when minimized to clear the selection.
