Send and receive all mail from one place

Microsoft Outlook® 2002

With Outlook, it's even easier for you to send and receive all of your e-mail from one location your Inbox. How many e-mail accounts do you have? You receive e-mail at work, but chances are you have at least one e-mail account at home. You might even have a separate e-mail account at work that you use for highly confidential communications. By receiving all of your e-mail in one Inbox, you are saved the trouble of using different folders when you log on to different providers to get all of your latest e-mail.

Many accounts to one Inbox

You can have all of your Microsoft Exchange Server, POP3, IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol), and HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) e-mail accounts, such as Hotmail®, delivered to your Inbox in Outlook. To receive e-mail from your different accounts, use the E-mail Accounts command on the Tools menu to define each account, including the specific information for each account.

Send e-mail from different accounts

In addition to receiving e-mail from different accounts, you can also send e-mail from your different accounts by using Outlook 2002. When you create a new message, click Accounts to choose the e-mail account you want to use to send the message. Since you might have a special account for confidential mail, for example, this feature allows you to use that special e-mail account on an "as needed" basis, without the trouble of logging off from Outlook and then logging on as a different user. Just select the appropriate e-mail account when you need it.
