Troubleshoot Opportunity records

ShowI want to reopen a closed Opportunity record.

You can reopen a closed Opportunity record (Opportunity record: The location for storing Opportunity information, including information that is entered on the Opportunity form, linked records, and communication history items.) by resetting its sales stage.

To get assistance entering information on the Opportunity form, click Business Contact Manager Help on the Help menu on the form.

ShowI can't edit some of the information on the Opportunity record form.

The following information on the Opportunity form (form: A way to collect and distribute information for items in Business Contact Manager for Outlook.) cannot be directly entered:

  • The Total box in the Items section of the General tab is automatically filled according to the information you entered in that section.
  • The information in the Source section of the Details tab is automatically filled when you create or modify the Opportunity.

ShowI can't open a history item linked to an Opportunity.

ShowI can't see the Opportunities folder in the Navigation Pane.
