Names in the
Address Book
dialog box always appear in alphabetical order. You can't change this.
Names in the
Contacts
folder can be sorted in various ways by using views. For example, you can group contacts using
By Company
,
By Location
,
By Category
, or by several other groupings. You can do this by selecting one of the view options in the
Navigation Pane
(Navigation Pane: The column on the left side of the Outlook window that includes panes such as Shortcuts or Mail and the shortcuts or folders within each pane. Click a folder to show the items in the folder.)
