A printed message contains the body of the message, along with a title and the header fields, such as the From, Sent, and Subject fields. You also have some font and formatting options available for the title (generally your name or computer name at the top of the page) and header fields.
If you are using 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 2 (SP2), you can print individual pages from messages.
How do I know what version of Office I'm using?
In the Help menu, click About Microsoft Office Outlook. The version you are using is shown at the top of the About Microsoft Office Outlook box.
If you use an Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 version earlier than SP2, you can print all pages of a particular message, or just the odd or even pages. But in order to print sections or specific pages of a message, you must use a browser view. For more information, see Print a page or part of an e-mail message.

To confirm how your message will look printed out, click Print Preview first, then click Print.
- Choose printing options. For an in-depth description of these options, see Printing in Outlook.
- Memo Style is the only style offered for individual messages; Table Style prints lists of messages.
- Page Setup and Define Styles both offer font and formatting choices.
- If you are using Office 2007 SP2 and do not want to print the entire message, under Print, click or enter the specific page or pages that you want to print.
Tip To confirm how your message will look printed out, click Print Preview first. If you have Office 2007 SP2 and do not want to print the entire message or list, this will help you determine which individual pages to print.
- Click OK to print.
