Make a folder home page available offline

This feature requires you to use a Microsoft Exchange account. Most home and personal accounts do not use Exchange.

You must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later installed on your computer to view folder home pages offline.

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive, point to Send/Receive Settings, and then click Define Send/Receive Groups.
  2. In the list, click a name containing an Exchange Server account, and then click Edit.
  3. Under Accounts, click the Exchange Server account.
  4. Under Account Options, select the Make folder home pages available offline check box.

ShowTip

Because updating folder home pages can be slow, to improve synchronization performance, create a Send/Receive group that contains your most important folders. For this group, select the Make folder home pages available offline check box. For all other Send/Receive groups, clear the Make folder home pages available offline check box.
