Keep upcoming appointments and meetings always in view

When you point to Calendar on the Navigation Bar (Navigation Bar: Commands at the bottom of the Outlook window that enable you to quickly navigate to Mail, Calendar, People, and Tasks.), the Calendar peek shows your upcoming appointments and meetings. To always be able to see your upcoming items, dock the Calendar peek to the Outlook window.

  • Click Pin the peek button.

To close the peek, at the top of the docked Calendar peek, click Remove the peek button.

Remove the peek command on the pinned Calendar peek

When a peek is docked or not docked it only affects that view. For example, if you’re in Mail and pin the Calendar peek, when you switch to Tasks, the Calendar peek doesn’t appear. You can dock or undock the Calendar peek in each view by clicking Pin the peek button or Remove the peek button.
