Import a collection of RSS Feeds

You can import a collection of Really Simple Syndication (RSS) (RSS: A way for content publishers to distribute news, blogs, and other content to subscribers. This content, whether complete or a synopsis, usually has a link back to the original content on the publisher's Web site.) feeds from an .opml file. This is a great way to use a collection of RSS Feeds from someone else or from an old computer that you’ve used to read RSS Feeds.

  1. On the File menu, click Open & Export > Import/Export.
  2. Click Import RSS Feeds from an OPML file, and then click Next.
  3. Browse to the location of the .opml file and open it.
  4. Select the feeds you want to import, and then click Next. The RSS feeds are added to the RSS feeds folder in Outlook.

Note    You will only receive new RSS feeds. Existing feed content is not imported.
