Customize and navigate calendars

In Calendar, click Home, and then in the Arrange group click the calendar view that you want.

Within in each view, to look forward or back, use the Back and Forward navigation buttons.

Next 7 Days

To see the next seven days in the calendar, click the first day, and then click Home. In the Go To group, click Next 7 Days.

Week and Work Week

Work Week includes the days defined in the Microsoft Office Backstage view as the work week. By default, this is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The work days that appear in the Work Week view can be changed in the Microsoft Office Backstage view.

By default, the first day of the week is Sunday. You can change the first day in the Backstage view .

Schedule View

The Schedule View displays the calendar in a vertical orientation. This view is helpful when multiple calendars are selected. Each calendar is stacked top to bottom.

Jump to a date

Use the date navigator to move to a new date by clicking a date on the calendar.

You can also press Ctrl+G to open the Go To Date dialog box.

Move to the next or previous appointment

If your current calendar view contains no appointments, one or both appointment navigation buttons appear on the edges of the calendar. When you click either of these buttons, the calendar view changes to the next or previous appointment.

 Note   If there is no next or previous appointment, the calendar navigation buttons aren’t available.
