Change a hyperlink in a message

If Microsoft Word is your e-mail editor, see Word Help instead.

Do any of the following:

ShowChange the type of hyperlink in an HTML formatted message

  1. Right-click the link.
  2. Choose Properties from the shortcut menu.
  3. In the Type list, choose the type of link you want.

ShowChange the display text of a hyperlink in an HTML formatted message

  1. Select the hyperlink text.
  2. Type the new text in the highlighted area.

ShowChange the look of a hyperlink in an HTML or RTF formatted message

  1. Select the hyperlink text.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Select a font from the Font box on the E-mail toolbar.
    • Select a font size from the Font Size box on the E-mail toolbar.
    • Click Bold Button image, Italic Button image, or Underline Button image.

 Note   If you are not using Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor, select the font and font size from the Formatting toolbar.

ShowRemove the hyperlink, but keep the text in an HTML formatted message

  1. Select the hyperlink text.
  2. On the Insert menu, click Remove Hyperlink.
