Adjusting the Outlook calendar to match the Australian 2006 time change

For 2006 only, Australia pushed out daylight savings time by one week to accommodate the Commonwealth Games scheduling. This change could affect Microsoft Outlook calendar users in Australia. The Outlook calendar is based on Microsoft Windows settings for time zone and daylight saving time adjustments. If Windows has not been updated with the adjusted daylight saving dates, meetings created by using Outlook during the week of extended daylight saving time will be off by one hour.

A Windows update is available to mitigate these Outlook issues. For more information, see the Knowledge Base article.
