HTML Help Workshop

Version 1.3 of Microsoft HTML Help Workshop, included with the Microsoft® Office 2003 Editions Resource Kit, can be used to create custom Help topics that provide information and assistance specific to your organization. You can also integrate your custom Help topics with the Microsoft Office 2003 Help system, or link them to custom Answer Wizard resource files to create a complete assistance solution.

Also included in the Office Resource Kit are two cascading style sheets that you can use to build your own custom Help topics using Microsoft styles. The style sheets, Office11.css and Startpag.css, must be used with Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.

Download and install HTML Help Workshop

The HTML Help Workshop install package is copied to your computer by the Office Resource Kit Setup program (Ork.exe). The HTML Help Workshop install package and the cascading style sheets (Office11.css and Startpag.css) are copied to the following folder on your computer: \Program Files\ORKTools\ORK11\TOOLS\HTML Help Workshop. The HTMLHELP.exe install package can be run from this location and will install HTML Help Workshop to a location you specify. If you want the cascading style sheets to be available in a different folder, you will need to copy them manually.

Toolbox   Microsoft HTML Help Workshop and associated style sheets are included in the downloadable Office Resource Kit toolset (ork.exe). You can find this downloadable file on the Office 2003 Resource Kit Downloads page.
