Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) is an integrated desktop management solution that you can use to deploy Microsoft Office 2000. By using SMS, you can create software packages and distribute them from a central location to all the users in your organization.

In addition to the wide array of applications and tools available in Office 2000 Premium, Systems Management Server includes many more tools and features for managing desktop computers. If you plan to deploy Office 2000 with Systems Management Server version 1.2 or 2.0, it is useful to have a detailed roadmap to guide you through the process.
