Other Information and Utilities

You can use the HTML Help Workshop to create Help topics that provide information and assistance specific to your organization. You can also integrate those topics with the Office 2000 Help system, or combine them with custom Answer Wizard databases to create a complete assistance solution.

Installing HTML Help Workshop

The HTML Help Workshop must be installed separately from the other applications—it is not installed by the Office Resource Kit Setup program. To install the HTML Help Workshop, run Htmlhelp.exe from the \PFiles\ORKTools\ToolBox\Tools\HTMLHelp\ folder on the Office Resource Kit CD-ROM.

Follow the instructions to install the HTML Help Workshop on your computer. To distribute the workshop for others to install, you need to deploy all of the files in the folder from a network installation point.

The HTML Help Workshop is available from the Microsoft Download Center. Follow the instructions to download the workshop.

Installing the custom style sheets

Also included in the Office Resource Kit are two cascading style sheets so that you can build your own custom help topics using Microsoft styles. The two style sheets are listed in the table below.

File name Description
Office.css Cascading style sheet for HHW (for use with Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later).
MsOffice.css Cascading style sheet for HHW (for use with Internet Explorer version 3.0).

The style sheets can be found in the \PFiles\ORKTools\ToolBox\Tools\HTMLHelp\ folder on the Office Resource Kit CD-ROM.

The style sheets are also available on the Office Resource Kit Web site. For more information, click Downloads in the left navigation pane. Follow the instructions to download the files.
