Answer Wizard Builder

Other Information and Utilities

Users sometimes submit queries to the Answer Wizard (the intelligence engine behind the Office Assistant) that the Answer Wizard cannot answer because the question is unique to your organization. For example, a user might ask for the path to a printer on your local network, or ask for the location of a form on your intranet. To provide this type of information, you can build your own Answer Wizard content that answers questions specific to your organization.

Installing the Answer Wizard Builder

The Answer Wizard Builder must be installed separately from the other utilities—it is not installed by the Office Resource Kit Setup program. To install the Answer Wizard Builder, run Setup.exe from the \Pfiles\ORKTools\ToolBox\Tools\AnsWiz folder on the Office Resource Kit CD-ROM.

Follow the instructions to install the Answer Wizard Builder on your computer. To distribute the utility for others to install, you need to deploy all of the files from the folder through a network installation point.

The Answer Wizard Builder (AWBuild.exe) is also available on the Office Resource Kit Web site. You can find this downloadable file on the Office 2000 Resource Kit Downloads page.
