Tools Information
Microsoft Office 2000 includes international features that you can tailor to fit the needs of your organization. When you install Office, an installation language setting governs the default behavior. For example, if the installation language is Japanese, Office applications display commands that allow you to work with Asian text. Under a non-Asian installation language setting, these commands are hidden. The installation language is set when you install Office 2000 and can only be changed with the Language Version utility.
Installing the Language Version
The Language Version utility is automatically installed on your computer when you install the Office Resource Kit. To locate the tool, click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office Tools, point to Microsoft Office 2000 Resource Kit Tools, and then click Language Version.
