If you have Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, you can schedule meetings while you take notes in OneNote. Meetings are added to your Outlook calendar, and meeting invitations are sent to the recipients whom you specify.

Note  The feature or functionality described in this topic is available only if you have installed Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1. To learn more about the service pack and how to download it, see Service pack features in OneNote 2003.

To schedule a meeting in OneNote, you set up an appointment and then specify that the appointment is a meeting.

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Create Outlook Item, and then click Create Outlook Appointment.
  2. On the Appointment tab, do the following:
    • In the Subject box, type a description.
    • In the Location box, type the location of the meeting.
    • Enter the start and end times.
  3. Click Invite Attendees.
  4. Type a name or names in the To box.
  5. Select any additional options that you want.
  6. Click Send.
