Share audio and video files
 

Do one or more of the following:

ShowSend audio and video files by using e-mail

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. In the Category list in the Options dialog box, click E-mail.
  3. Select the Attach a copy of linked audio and video files check box.
  4. Click the page tab for the page that contains the audio or video files you want to send.
  5. On the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Mail Recipient.
  6. Click Send a Copy.

Notes

  • If you are not running Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, be sure to add the .one file and the .wma or .wmv files as separate attachments to the e-mail message.
  • Instruct your users to save the .wma or .wmv files to the same location as the .one file so that they can play the audio or video right from the page.
  • You can also send just the audio or video recording by sending only the .wma or .wmv file.

ShowPublish pages that contain audio and video files

  1. Click the page tab for the page you want to publish.
  2. On the File menu, click Publish Pages.
  3. In the Publish dialog box, navigate to the shared location where you want to publish the .one file and the .wma or .wmv files.
  4. In the Save as type box, click OneNote Sections.
  5. Click Publish.
