Insert a picture
 

Do one of the following:

ShowInsert a picture from a file

  1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From File.

  2. In the Insert Picture dialog box, locate the file you want to insert, and then click Insert.

ShowInsert a picture from a Web page

  • In a Web browser, drag the picture you want to insert onto the page in your Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 notebook.

    Note  When you insert a picture that is formatted as a hyperlink, OneNote will display the hyperlink, instead of the picture.

ShowInsert a picture from a scanner

  1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and click From Scanner or Camera.
  2. Under Device in the Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera dialog box, click the device from which you want to insert a picture.

    ShowTip

    To make the picture available in Microsoft Office programs that use Microsoft Clip Organizer, click Add Pictures to Clip Organizer.

  3. Click the resolution that you want.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To scan and insert the entire picture, click Insert.

    • To change the area of the picture that you want to scan and set the properties for the scanned picture, click Custom Insert.

ShowInsert a picture from a digital camera

  1. On the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click From Scanner or Camera.
  2. Under Device in the Insert Picture from Scanner or Camera dialog box, click the device from which you want to insert a picture.

    ShowTip

    To make the picture available in Microsoft Office programs that use Microsoft Clip Organizer, click Add Pictures to Clip Organizer.

  3. Click Custom Insert.
  4. Click the picture that you want to add, and then click Get Pictures.

    ShowTip

    To select more than one picture at a time, hold down the CTRL key and click each picture that you want.
