Entering notes into your notebook is like writing on paper: after you enter the information, it's stored on the page. Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 automatically saves your section when you close a notebook or exit OneNote. OneNote also saves your work continuously while you use OneNote. Because of this, there is no need to manually save your notes when you are finished taking them.
If you want to save a copy of a section of your notes to a different location, you can use the Save As command on the File menu. When you use the Save As command to save a section of your notes to a different location, this new location becomes the new location of the auto-save for that section.
- On the File menu, click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, browse to the location where you want to save the selected section, and then click Save.
