Once the results are in the Research task pane, pick what you want to do. You can click a link to go out to the Web for a detailed quote or to see a 1-year, 3-year, or 5-year chart showing price history. Remember, to return to your workspace, just close or minimize the browser window.
If all you want is a price, you can click the Insert Price button in the Research task pane to insert a stock, index, or fund price in your document. Remember, though, that price quotes usually are delayed at least 20 minutes.
Note In Word and Excel, you can insert additional financial information by downloading an add-in. Click the arrow next to the Insert Price button, and then click the Check for New Actions link on the menu. More information about the download is on the Quick Reference Card at the end of this course. Not all versions of Microsoft Office 2003 contain the Check for New Actions link in these two programs.
