You might have to reactivate the state of your license for Microsoft Office Professional Plus for the following reasons:
- If the programs that are included with Office Professional Plus are in Reduced Functionality mode.
- If the license is now going to be used by a different person.
- If the computer is now used by a different person.
What do you want to do?
Reactivate the state of the license
There are two ways to reactivate the state of your license for Office Professional Plus and both ways use Osaui.exe.
Osaui.exe is located in the Office14 folder, for example, at %CommonProgramsFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Office14 or %CommonProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Shared\Office14 if you are running the x86 version of Office Professional Plus on a 64-bit operating system.
Reactivate the license after going into Reduced Functionality mode
To return the programs that are included with Office Professional Plus back to a fully-functioning state, out of Reduced Functionality mode, do the following:
- Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.
- At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
OSAUI.exe /K
Type the Microsoft Online Services ID and password provided by your administrator for Office Professional Plus.
This command starts the Office Professional Plus Agent and attempts to license Office Professional Plus again by using the previously entered Microsoft Online Services ID and password.
