About Web site statistics and Reports
The Reports service that is included in Microsoft Office Live Small Business analyzes your public Web site traffic and provides data about how visitors find your Web site, how they use it, how long they stay, the operating system and browser they use, and more. You can then use this information to improve your site's content and design and enhance your visitors' experience.
By viewing and analyzing your reports, you can learn which external Web sites your visitors are arriving from, which links to other pages on your Web site should be made more prominent, and
which pages work
well —
or not so well —
to attract and retain the interest of your visitors. In addition, you can view this information for the time period that interests you: for the hour, day, month, or year.
Notes
- You must activate Reports before Office Live begins to collect the data to be reported, such as page views and keyword usage. To activate Reports, on the Office Live Small Business Home page, at the top, click More, and then click Reports. On the Reports page, click Activate for FREE.
- Only account owners and Administrators can view site reports; users with Editor or Reader permissions cannot view them. For information about how to assign permissions, see Add, modify, or remove user accounts and permissions.
- When you print your reports, use Windows Internet Explorer for the best results.
