Lync Online settings summary

The Lync admin center includes settings for your entire organization, and for individual users.

 Note    Depending on your location, you might not have access to all features of Lync Online. For details, see License restrictions for Office 365.

Disable non-archived features

Turns off features that aren’t captured when the organization has set up an in-place hold in the Exchange admin center:

  • File transfer using instant messaging
  • Shared OneNote pages
  • PowerPoint annotations

Select this option if you’re legally required to preserve electronically stored information.
