
Let's start Word
To use Word, look for the Word icon in the Start menu and click it.
Start Word using the following steps.
- Display the Start menu.

Click the
(Start button).
- Look for the Word icon.


Point to All Programs. Next, point to Microsoft Office, and then click Microsoft Office Word 2007.
- The startup screen appears, and Word starts.

Tip: The first time you start Word

The first time you start Word, the Microsoft Software License Agreement might appear.

In this case, read the license agreement carefully and click the I Accept button.
Note If you are using a boxed edition, the screen shown and its operation might be different.

Let's quit Word
Let's quit Word using the following steps.
- Click the
button in the upper right of the Word window.

Click the
button.
- Word quits.
