I want to enter text in PowerPoint in the same way that I do in Word, but I can't.
Why not?
In PowerPoint, you must enter text in a text box. The text box is where "Click to add a title" is written.
What is a "text box"? A "box" of "text"?
Exactly! It is a rectangular area in which to enter text.
As the name implies, it is used exclusively for text.
But, when I look at the screen, there is already text there. How do I enter text?
Look carefully at the screen. On the upper left, there are small slides.
No text is displayed there.

In other words, nothing is entered. "Click to add title" and "Click to add subtitle" is not text that is actually entered, but they are instructions to "enter suitable text in each of the text boxes". If you actually type in a title and subtitle, you'll understand. The text is displayed in the small slides in the top left.

Because I typed in the text, right!
"Click to add title" → Type in slide title
Click to add subtitle → Type in subtitle
That's what it means!
