Elements of the Outlook window

1 Title Bar: Displays the name of the selected folder and the name of the software.
2 Menu: Commands needed for your work are located in menus, such as File and Edit. Click the menu to display the command group.
3 Toolbar: Frequently used commands are located here.
4 Navigation Pane You can switch between the Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks windows to display the folder where your e-mail, your calendar, or a list of tasks is saved.
5 Information Display Window: Displays information about e-mail, the calendar, your contacts, and tasks.
6 To Do Bar: Displays important e-mail, your schedule for the day, and your list of things to do.
7 Status Bar: Displays the number of items and the status of e-mail you send and receive.
