Step Up ! Create a personal account book with Excel

In Excel, you can do many things with the data you enter.
Using the example of "creating a personal account book", we'll explain how to set the display format of the data, perform calculations using the data you enter, and finally to create a chart.

Let's create a table

Using Excel, you can enter data or a data header in a cell and choose from provided table designs and color patterns. You can create an attractive table simply by selecting a menu.
Let's create a table containing data to create a personal account book.

  1. Type in "Date", "Content", and other headers required in a personal account book in each cell.

  2. Drag to select the range of cells that create the table starting with the row of headers you entered.

    Here, we are going to make a table from cell "A1" to cell "A20".

  3. Click Table in Table on the Insert tab.

    Click Table

  4. The Create Table dialog box appears.

    Select the My table has headers check box, and then click the OK button.

  5. The selected cell range is converted into a table.

    The cells containing the data from Step 1 are changed to the header row style.

  6. We'll enter data for a personal account book.
