How to Use the Live Meeting 2005 Replay Wrapper
 

This section describes how to use the Live Meeting 2005 Replay Wrapper after you have installed it on your computer.

ShowHow to use the Live Meeting 2005 Replay Wrapper

  1. Browse to the View Recording page.
  2. Click the View icon for Microsoft Office Live Meeting Replay format.

    The recording will be played automatically using the Live Meeting Replay Wrapper.

    Note  Click Yes when prompted with a Security Alert that warns you that you are about to be redirected to a connection that is not secure.

When you replay a Live Meeting recording that is stored on your computer, the Live Meeting skin is not automatically loaded into Windows Media player. To use the Live Meeting skin, do the following:

  1. Open Windows Media Player with the Live Meeting 2005 Replay Wrapper installed.
  2. Click Skin Chooser on the View menu.
  3. Double-click the Live Meeting skin in the skin chooser pane. You can also click the Live Meeting skin in the skin chooser pane and then click Apply Skin.
  4. Right-click within the Windows Media Player window and click Open.
  5. In the Open dialog box, type the path and name of the recording or click browse to navigate to the recording that you want to view and then click Open.
  6. Click OK to play the meeting recording.
  7. When finished you can change the skin. To do so, right-click within the Windows Media Player window and click Switch to Full Mode.
  8. Click Skin Chooser on the View menu.
  9. Select the skin that you want to use.

ShowTo navigate through a recording

  • As with Windows Media Player, click the Play button to play, the Pause button to pause, the Previous button to jump to a previous topic, the Next button to jump to the next topic, the volume slider to adjust the volume of the recording and the Mute/Unmute button to turn off or turn on the sound for a recording.
  • Click the Presentation index to jump to the section of your interest.
  • Adjust the playback speed by moving the Playback Speed Settings slider.
  • View the Questions and Answers log as they show up during the course of the meeting.
  • Click the vertical split bar separating the replay window and the information pane to show and hide the information pane.
