When designing a form, you can apply a heading format to control labels or other text. Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 includes six built-in heading formats.
- Select the text whose formatting you want to change.
- On the Formatting toolbar, click Font
. - In the Pick formatting to apply box in the Font task
pane, select the heading style you want to apply. InfoPath
changes the text to the formatting specified for the style you applied.
Tip
Setting text as a heading makes it easier to use the color scheme feature. When a color scheme is applied, the appropriate colors are automatically applied to text with a heading format.Note When filling out a form, you can use the previous procedure to apply a heading format to text in certain types of rich text fields (rich text field: A field that can show formatting and graphics, such as an embedded object, and not just text.). To quickly determine whether you're in a rich text field, place your insertion point in the field. If the Font button on the Formatting toolbar appears active instead of dimmed, the field supports heading formatting.
