Insert and position a picture

When you design a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form template, you can insert a picture or clip art (clip: A single media file, including art, sound, animation, or movies.), such as a logo or masthead, and then change its size or position. You can also set a picture or clip art as a background in a form template.

Tip   If you add a picture control to your form template, you enable users to insert pictures into that control, or links to a picture, when they fill out the form.

What do you want to do?

Add a background picture

When you design a form template, you can include colors or pictures in the background of the form template.

  1. On the View menu, click View Properties.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Select the Use a background picture check box.
  4. In the Add a background picture dialog box, select the picture you want, and then click OK.
  5. If you want the image to appear as a watermark, select the Tile horizontally or Tile vertically check box in the View Properties dialog box.

Tip   To create a watermark effect in a form template, add a background picture that uses low saturation.
