Design a form based on an XML schema

Finished form with several groups and fields included and various controls and layouts applied

Combine the structure and elements of your schema with the smarts and design features of InfoPath to create a great form.

You've got all the elements of an existing schema available to you in the Data Source task pane, and now you must design the form.

This lesson guides you in doing so. You'll pick and choose from among the groups and fields available, and you'll drag them onto the form. InfoPath helps this process by selecting or suggesting form controls for various types of data.

You'll get familiar, too, with how InfoPath binds controls so that the data entered into them will be stored correctly. Finally, you'll use layout tables and repeating sections to organize and format the form.
