    Installation prerequisites

    • The Monster Easy Submit functionality is available through Word 2007 templates provided by Monster Worldwide only.
      • If the template is saved from non-secure setting in your machine, you may need to enable Macros Security Setting.

        To enable Macros, click Options, then choose Enable this content, and click OK.

    • Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1
      • If this version of the .Net framework is not currently installed, the application will install it. It may take several minutes to download and a system reboot will be required.
    • You must have administrative privileges to install the add-in.
      • To check your user account settings, go to the Windows Control Panel and choose User Accounts.

     Note   Certain internet security and firewalls within a corporate environment may block the installation of the add-in. Check with your system administrator for more information on security settings if installation is incomplete.

    How to install the add-in

    1. Download the template from Office Online. Enable Macros if necessary.
    2. On the Ribbon menu, click the Install Monster Resume Easy Submit button.

    3. Click Run in the File Download dialog box.

    4. Click Run again to start the installation process.
    5. Click Installon the Microsoft Office Customation Installer dialog box.

      Click "Install" to install the Monster Resume Easy Submit Add-in.
    6. Click Close when installation is complete.
    7. Navigate back to the Word template, and click Yes to restart Word and save the document. The template should reopen when Word 2007 is restarted.
    8. On the Ribbon menu, you will see that the button has changed to Upload Resume to Monster.com.
    9. Once the Monster Resume Easy Submit Add-in is installed, it will always be available in the Add-ins tab in Word for future resume uploads to Monster.com.

    How to upload your resume to Monster.com from Word 2007

    1. Once your resume is complete, save the .docx template in your files.
    2. On the Ribbon menu, click Upload Resume to Monster.com.

    3. The Monster.com Taskpane should show up on the right side of the document. Type in your Mosnter login credentials or click the “Become a member” link to create an account on Monster.com for the first time.
    4. Once you log in or create an account, your resume will be uploaded to your Monster.com account.

     Note   You can save up to five resumes to your Monster account. After five resumes have been saved to your Monster account, new uploads via Easy Submit will require that you delete an older resume and overwrite it with the new one.

    1. Following your resume posting, you can log on to Monster.com to make additional changes or to make your resume public and search for jobs.
