Run Microsoft Office Live Meeting Web Access

You reached the Installation page because you either have not installed the Windows-based Live Meeting console, or your console is out of date. If you are using a computer running Microsoft Windows, click Install and Join on the Installation Web page to install the console and join your meeting. This is a one-time installation that will set up the full-featured Windows-based Live Meeting console on your computer.

In the File Download dialog box, click Run. If you are running Windows XP SP2, you may notice that nothing happens. In this case, on the Installation page, look for a pop-up message. Click the pop-up message, and then click Download File. If you are running Windows XP SP2, click Run again at the Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog box to start the Live Meeting setup program. When installation is complete, Live Meeting will start the console and add you to the meeting.

Note   To install the console, you must have permission to install software from the Internet on your computer. If you don't know whether you have permission to install software, contact your system administrator.

Run the Web-based console instead

If you don't have time right now to install the console and need to get into your meeting without delay, you can run the Web-based Live Meeting console instead. The Web-based console offers limited functionality, but it is the fastest way to join your meeting now. To run the Web-based Live Meeting console, on the Installation page under Use Live Meeting Web Access, click Accept and Use.

Note   If your computer is running anything other than Microsoft Windows, your only option is to run the Web-based Live Meeting console.
