Move pages to a new document

You can move pages from an existing Microsoft Office Document Imaging document into a new document. Use this procedure to divide multi-page documents into smaller or more meaningful pieces.

ShowMove a single page to a new document

  1. In the thumbnail pane (thumbnail pane: Presents the current scanned document as one or more small images.), click the page you want to move.
  2. On the Page menu, click Move Pages to New File.

ShowMove multiple pages to a new document

  1. In the thumbnail pane (thumbnail pane: Presents the current scanned document as one or more small images.), select the first page you want to move.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To select a series of pages, hold down the SHIFT key and click the last thumbnail.
    • To select pages not in a series, hold down the CTRL key and click additional thumbnails.
  3. On the Page menu, click Move Pages to New File.
