Apply strikethrough formatting

You can use this procedure to apply strikethrough formatting to text in a document.

If you want to track changes in a document, you must use the Track Changes feature. For more information on tracking changes, see Track changes while you edit.

Apply single-line strikethrough formatting

  1. Select the text that you want to change.
  2. On the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher, and then click the Font tab.

  3. Select the Strikethrough check box.

Apply double-line strikethrough formatting

  1. Select the text that you want to change.
  2. On the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher, and then click the Font tab.

  3. Select the Double strikethrough check box.
