When you publish (publish: To save a copy of a file in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format to a Web server.) your presentation as a Web page (Web page: A presentation saved in HTML format. Supporting graphics and other related files are stored in an associated folder when a presentation is saved as a Web page.), the notes and outline automatically appear in the Web browser. If you do not want them to appear, you can turn them off when you publish the page.
- In Microsoft Office PowerPoint, open the Web presentation you want to modify.
- On the File menu, click Save as Web page.
- Click Publish, and then do one of the following:
Hide both the outline and notes
- In the Publish as Web Page dialog box, click Web Options.
- On the General tab, clear the Add slide navigation controls check box, and then click OK.
- In the Publish as a Web Page dialog box, click Publish.
Hide just the notes
- Clear the Display speaker notes check box.
- In the Publish as a Web Page dialog box, click Publish.
