Remove hyphenation

Do one of the following:

ShowIf you used automatic hyphenation

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Language, and then click Hyphenation.

  2. Clear the Automatically hyphenate document check box.

ShowIf you manually inserted optional hyphens

  1. On the Edit menu, click Replace.
  2. If you don't see the Special button, click More.
  3. Click Special, and then click Optional Hyphen.
  4. Leave the Replace with box empty.
  5. Click Find Next, Replace, or Replace All.

    To cancel a search in progress, press ESC.
