File formats PowerPoint can import as charts

Applies to: Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

You can import data from text files and other programs in the following formats.

.txt, .csv: Delimited text (text separated by tab characters, commas, or spaces)
.wks, .wk1: Lotus 1-2-3
.xls: Microsoft Excel worksheet or workbook
.xlw: Microsoft Excel version 5.0 workbook
.xlc: Microsoft Excel version 4.0 or earlier chart
