1. Open the file you want to use as the search page (search page: A page from which you can find and go to other Internet sites or to documents on an intranet. Many search pages provide various ways to search, such as by topic, by keyword, or by matches to user queries.) for the Microsoft Office programs.
2. If the Web toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.) is not displayed, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Web.
3. On the Web toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.), click Go, and then click Set Search Page.
4. Click Yes.

 Notes 

• The new search page will display when you click Search the Web on the Web toolbar.
• If you cannot open the page you want to use from your Office program, you can change this setting in most Web browsers (browser: Software that interprets HTML files, formats them into Web pages, and displays them. A Web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, can follow hyperlinks, transfer files, and play sound or video files that are embedded in Web pages.).
• If you want to change the search page back to the original, you can reset the search page in most Web browsers.
