Reapply the layout and fonts to a slide

If you have changed the placeholders (placeholders: Boxes with dotted or hatch-marked borders that are part of most slide layouts. These boxes hold title and body text or objects such as charts, tables, and pictures.) or fonts on a slide, you can reapply the placeholder properties and fonts from the slide master (slide master: The main slide that stores information about the theme and layouts of a presentation, including the background, color, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes, and positions.).

  1. Display the slide in normal view.
  2. On the Format menu, click Slide Layout.
  3. Point to the type of layout the slide uses, such as Text or Text and Content (the name of the layout appears in ToolTips when you point), then click the arrow, and click Reapply Layout.
