- Select the objects that you want to align.
- Do one of the following:
Set coordinates for objects relative to the slide corner or center
- On the Format menu, click the command for the type of object that you selected — for example, AutoShape or Picture — and then click the Position tab.
- In the From boxes, select either Top Left Corner or Center for the horizontal and vertical anchors, and then enter the distances that you want from the anchors in the Horizontal and Vertical boxes.
Align objects by their edges
When you align objects (object: A table, chart, graphic, equation, or other form of information. Objects created in one application, for example spreadsheets, and linked or embedded in another application are OLE objects.) relative to each other by their edges, one of the objects remains stationary. For example, clicking Align Left aligns the left edges of all selected objects with the left edge of the leftmost object — that is, the leftmost object remains stationary, and the other objects are aligned relative to it.
