Do one of the following:
Add or remove a shadow for selected text
- Select the text you want to change.
- On the Formatting
toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), click Shadow
to turn the shadow on or off.
Note You may need to add the Text Shadow button (
) to the Formatting toolbar.
Add or remove a shadow for all text in a text box
- Select the text box that has the text you want to change.
- On the Drawing
toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.), click Shadow Style
, and do one of the following:.
- To add a shadow, click the option you want.
- To remove a shadow, click No Shadow.
Insert WordArt
- Click where you want to insert the WordArt (WordArt: Text objects you create with ready-made effects to which you can apply additional formatting options.) text.
- On the Drawing toolbar, click Insert WordArt
.
- Click the WordArt effect you want, and then click OK.
- In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, type the text you want.
- Do any of the following:
- To change the font type, in the Font list, select a font.
- To change the font size, in the Size list, select a size.
- To make text bold, click the Bold button.
- To make text italic, click the Italic button.
